Post Pregnancy After you have
had your six-week check up, you are ready restarting your workouts full force.
Granted that you might be tired, know that if you work out you will have
more energy, be less stressed, and will be showing your child at an oh so early
age, what a fine example you are. It is wise to
wait until after your six-week check up for many reasons.
One reason is that your body has gone though a very traumatic experience,
your body needs to heal completely. You need to rest as much as possible and get the go ahead
from your doctor before you start working out heavily. You can now begin to run, lift, and sweat as much as you want. If you are limited to what you can do, you could always take your baby out for a walk around the block or around the track at the gym. Some fitness centers have daycare included, which provide parents with an excellent time to release stress into a work out, and lose that baby weight. Post pregnancy, it can be difficult getting back into the swing of things. However, post pregnancy a good time to start back up with exercise. There were times during pregnancy that you might not of continued working out. This is understandable, however, it makes it even more important to work out post pregnancy. We want to get back to our original bodies, or at least as close as we can get to it. Getting back into shape helps us in more ways than just physical. As I mentioned above, working out post pregnancy gives us more energy, it relieves a level of stress, it also helps us get our confidence back. As much as we love our new bundle of joy, most of us have not found a way to love our bodies, post pregnancy. Through exercise, we help the physical and mental well being. |
